TFT Mobile, or Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game, officially launches in Google Play Store and Apple App Store globally. Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is an auto battler strategy game, inspired by Dota Auto Chess, developed and published by Riot Games, which was initially released as a game mode for League of Legends in June 2019, and is now available as a standalone game for Android and iOS, March 19, 2020, excluding China and Southeast Asia, which will launch on later date.
According to Riot Games, the mobile version will feature full cross-play support on the PC and launches with the recently revealed content pack, "Galaxies," which features unique space-themed boards, skins and champions.
Riot SEA will be the one to release the SEA version of the game, instead of Garena. TFT Mobile SEA server includes access to countries from Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei, and other neighboring countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. With that said, TFT Mobile will not be available for cross-platform play in Southeast Asia, so you will need to register a new Riot account as your current Garena account will not be supported. Despite of this, Riot Games will still continue to support Garena LoL client.
TFT Mobile with the introduction of TFT Galaxies features Galaxies Little Legends, themed Arena Skins and Ranked Play, The Galaxies Pass and Pass+, and new Booms! cosmetic. New player tutorials are available when you start the game. However, the Store and Loot system will be added at a later date.
The Teamfight Tactics Mobile minimum specs requirements are as follows: for iOS, iPhone 6 and for Android, OS 7 or higher. Once fully downloaded, the total file size of the game will take up about 800MB.

When is TFT Mobile launching in SEA?
Teamfight Tactics Mobile is going into closed beta in a small handful of countries next week, with a plan to launch the game fully in several additional countries in March. Unfortunately, we're not aiming to launch TFT Mobile in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau until the fall of 2020. We know it's incredibly frustrating not to be able to play at the same time as other regions, and we are focused on getting TFT Mobile in your hands as soon as possible. We are in this for the long haul and are committed to delivering the best possible experience for our players moving forward.
With our new games on the horizon, we made the decision in early 2019 to try to directly deliver our new games to players in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau wherever possible - leveraging local partners as needed. While most regions have been operating League of Legends with sizable Riot teams for many years, we began working to support our new games in SEA with a small team and no existing infrastructure. We are working hard to establish the operational groundwork necessary to launch our new games, which includes:
- Rolling out the new Riot Games account system for Southeast Asia
- Extending Riot Direct (network improvements) to Southeast Asia and ensuring optimal connectivity
- Building new game servers on the latest infrastructure
- Expanding our localization capabilities to ensure accessibility for all our players
- Locking in the strongest player support partners and growing our Riot Southeast Asia team
- Navigating all approval requirements that are necessary for us to launch games in the region
Completing the steps above is our utmost priority, but with preparation in process, we aren't currently set up to support TFT Mobile. We will provide updates as soon as they become available. In the meanwhile, please feel free to pre-register for TFT Mobile via the link below: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riotgames.league.teamfighttactics
TFT Mobile is one of the projects that Riot Games revealed during the League10 anniversary, along with LoL Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Valorant and many more.
