Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 Update Overview
Black Swan leads the Astral Express to Amphoreus to replenish Trailblaze Fuel and discover its wonders, leaving Penacony behind. Outside, Amphoreus emerges as a chaotic swirl, invisible and unknowable. Similarly, its residents are clueless about the outer world. Instead of "Aeons," they worship "Titans." Legend says twelve Titans formed Amphoreus: three who woven fate, three who sculpted heaven and earth, three who shaped life, and three who brought tragedy. Gods and miracles are real in Amphoreus. Yet this realm's history is tragic. Three Titans—"Strife," "Death," and "Trickery"—started a gods' civil war in ancient times. A mysterious "black tide" then swept the world. Its origins are unknown, yet it ruins everything it touches, even the Titans. The world sank into perpetual night as the black tide consumed Amphoreus, and the gods fought for millennia. Only Kephale, the Worldbearing Titan, protects humanity's only refuge, the Holy City of Okhema, from the black tide.
The sudden arrival of the Astral Express from another world will transform Amphoreus's fate. In Amphoreus, the Trailblazer and Dan Heng fall into the "Abyss of Fate." According to legend, Time, Passage, and Law wove here the threads of time, space, and rules that would oversee Amphoreus and all creation. This area is in endless gloom, with only empty, great architectural remnants. The Trailblazers will return to the Abyss of Fate, pierce the mists, explore the temple, and meet Oronyx, the Titan of Time. This interaction puts the Trailblazer on the Path of Remembrance, allowing him to "draw strength from the past."
On the other hand, players will encounter a new companion named "Mem." Mem has mysterious origins and only makes "Mem" sounds. Despite this, Mem is important in combat. The Trailblazer can summon Mem during battles, which charges Energy over time. Once fully charged, Mem's Support allows a chosen character to take immediate action and deal extra True DMG, helping to turn the battle in their favor.
The twisting trail beyond the Abyss leads to Okhema, the hillside Holy City. The Worldbearing Titan's eternal dawn will illuminate this metropolis, which will be the base for the pioneering voyage across Amphoreus. Marmoreal Palace, a great bath, is a notable landmark. Beyond bathing and relaxation, it's the city's heart, a public gathering location that fosters everyday social ties. In this everlasting night and chaos, Okhema, protected by the Worldbearing Titan, is humanity's last refuge and hope. Local folklore promises that Kephale will open their eyes and help humanity defeat the black tide and create a new world. From underneath this holy city, the Chrysos Heirs search for the flame to retrieve the twelve Titan Coreflames and bring back Amphoreus to glory. Future stories will feature the Trailblazer fighting with the Chrysos Heirs in this historical quest.
Further, players can visit Castrum Kremnos, a unique city-state. Named after the Blade of Fury that hangs above the city, it's where the Strife Titan lives and where the seventh Coreflame sleeps. Players will use the Oronyx to visit Castrum Kremnos in its golden age in the second portion of the Trailblaze Mission. They will find The Hand of Zagreus, a mechanism left by the Trickery Titan. In some situations, this mechanism may lift huge objects, pick up items, break roads, and effortlessly defeat enemies. It greatly aids in exploring. Players will enter Castrum Kremnos with the Chrysos Heirs and go through the ruined fortress to fight the fallen and maddened Strife Titan for the Coreflame of Strife.
The last map in Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 marks the beginning of the world of Amphoreus: The Vortex of Genesis. This is the majestic sanctuary for the twelve divine Titans and the prophesied Miracle of Genesis site. Any Chrysos Heir who defeats a Titan and takes its Coreflame will return it here. Every illuminated constellation in the emptiness depicts an ancestor's trip. After generations of hardships, the Trailblazer must collaborate with the Chrysos Heirs to finish the Flame-Chase Journey.
Moreover, Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 will add two formidable 5-star characters to the roster.
The first is The Herta, Genius Society #83 and Emanator of Erudition. Herta's puppets and space station quirks have left a lasting effect since her debut. It's believed that her inner self lives on the Cosmos' edge and rarely shows herself. Only today has she revealed herself. The Herta is an Ice-Type Erudition character known for dealing damage to multiple enemies (AoE DMG). In battle, she can apply a status called "Interpretation" on her enemies. When allies attack, they can also add further "Interpretation" to the enemy. As the "Interpretation" stacks increase, The Herta's abilities can hit harder, dealing increased damage to specific targets and multiple enemies. Additionally, her Ultimate can "Transfer" the highest "Interpretation" stacks to Elite or tougher enemies before dealing Ice damage to all targets.
Next is Aglaea from Amphoreus. Her heavenly authority is "Romance," and she was one of the first Chrysos Heirs to join the Flame-Chase Journey. Aglaea, Okhema's dressmaster, is a renowned hero of Amphoreus and a key player in recruiting new Chrysos Heirs to join the world-saving adventure when the Flame-Chase adventure was interrupted. Aglaea, the first limited 5-star Remembrance character, may summon her memosprite Garmentmaker to combat. They fight as duet dancers. Aglaea and Garmentmaker can also synchronize their attacks on enemies. A lovely dance for two is possible with this new combined attacking mechanism, which improves the Garmentmaker's speed (SPD) and adds rhythm and variability to fighting.
In the first half of Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0, there will be a special Warp event. The limited 5-star characters Lingsha, Jade, and Feixiao will return. In the second half, the limited 5-star characters Boothill, Silver Wolf, and Robin will also come back.
Additionally, March 7th, the 4-star character, will receive a new Preservation outfit. You can claim it after unlocking the "Characters" function and logging in during the HSR Version 3.0 period.
I just wanna remind you again guys. The release date of Honkai Star Rail Version 3.0 Update is January 15, 2025. This free-to-play role-playing gacha video game is available on PC, Android, iOS, Epic Games Store, and PS5.
