Overview
A Teleport Waypoint that has been unlocked will allow players, including novices and intermediates, to access the road to Natlan after they have completed the Prologue of the Archon Quest in Mondstadt.
Natlan, also known as the Nation of Pyro, is situated to the west of the Sumeru desert. There are six primary tribes that comprise this nation's populace. The Saurians, also known as the dragons of Natlan, are the outcome of a protracted evolutionary process. They have adapted to coexist with humans and have even become their loyal companions.

Mualani
- Tribe: People of the Springs
- Element and Weapon: five-star Hydro catalyst wielder
This girl, who is both fiery and radiant, is the proprietor of a watersports store and is an enthusiast of a variety of water sports, including beach volleyball, surfing, and swimming. Mualani predominantly inflicts Hydro damage to stack layers through on-field movement.
Surf to Explore: Mualani's Elemental Skill enables her to accelerate her movement on land, water, and liquid Phlogiston by mounting her Sharky Surfboard. Furthermore, she has the ability to navigate the Spiritways, a Phlogiston track that is flowing and can be used for a rapid journey.
Surf, Mark, and Bite: Mualani's Elemental Skill transforms her Normal Attacks into Sharky's Bite, which inflicts devastating Hydro damage. She can accumulate stacks and mark her adversaries by engaging in combat. Mualani has the ability to discharge a reinforced bite that inflicts substantial damage with a maximum of three stacks.
Kinich
- Tribe: Scions of the Canopy
- Element and Weapon: five-star Dendro claymore wielder
He is a renowned hunter who is accompanied by a unique Saurian companion named Ajaw.
Kinich can utilize his Elemental Skill to grasp onto Coilgrass Sigils during exploration, allowing him to swing forward consecutively and reach higher elevations with a grappling hook.
Kinich links to the target and commences loop shots when he employs his Elemental Skill in the sight of nearby enemies. In this state, he steadily accumulates Nightsoul Points, which, when they reach their maximum, enable him to unleash a powerful shot that inflicts substantial Dendro DMG.
Ajaw, Kinich's Saurian companion, will discharge dragonbreaths to inflict AoE Dendro DMG upon his Elemental Burst.
Kachina

- Element and Weapon: four-star Geo polearm wielder
Turbo Twirly: In addition to unleashing ground-slam attacks to inflict AoE Geo DMG in combat, Kachina is capable of summoning Turbo Twirly and riding it to climb walls and cliffs during daily exploration as well.

Exploration
Phlogiston
Phlogiston is a distinctive resource in the Nation of Pyro that is associated with Pyro power. Phlogiston is a versatile resource that can be employed by the locals as a new tool for movement and combat. It is available in a variety of forms. Upon inhabiting a Saurian, you may observe that a distinct Phlogiston bar on the right side of your Saurian body is being consumed by your skills. Additionally, a Phlogiston bar is displayed above the health bar of Natlan characters.
Further, the Spiritways, a pathway formed by the constant passage of Phlogiston, can be utilized by Koholasaurus or the People of the Springs to facilitate fast travel.
Nightsoul's Blessing
This state is distinctive to characters in Natlan, and it typically enhances their combat abilities and mobility. The Elemental Skill is the most convenient method for them to reach this state, and a Nightsoul bar will appear on the left side of the character.
Tribes
Children of Echoes
This tribe is located in the canyons of northeast Natlan, which has produced skilled miners and talented performers. Locals proudly exhibit their passion for the arts and their dancing abilities on a grand stage that serves as the focal point of their entertainment.
Scions of the Canopy
This tribe is cantilevered over the steep cliffs with cables, which has breathtaking views. The inhabitants are adept at traversing forests and vegetation and ascending to elevated locations with ease. These capabilities render them particularly well-suited for the position of courier.
People of the Springs
This laidback tribe is renowned for its hot springs, providing a tranquil atmosphere through a variety of water activities and music. It is the perfect location for residents to enjoy beach volleyball and conquer the waves. More stories and mysteries about this seaside tribe will be revealed with the assistance of local guides.
Saurian Indwelling
In Natlan, Saurian Indwelling is a distinctive transformation mechanism. You can traverse the land of Natlan in the form of Saurians by inhabiting them or their respective Spiritscounces. Indwell three distinct Saurian types, including Teptlisaurus, Yumkasaurus, and Koholasaurus, in order to gain insight into their unique skills.

Tepetlisaurus
It is renowned for its mining capabilities, which can serve as an advantageous ally for the Children of Echoes. The tribe may benefit from the assistance of this Saurian in the excavation of valuable minerals and the crafting of pathways through rugged canyons. You acquire the ability to burrow underground, climb up cliffs, and even access concealed tunnels that rapidly transport you to the other side of obstacles when you inhabit a Tepetlisaurus.
Yumkasaurus
It is adored by the Scions of the Canopy, who are passionate about extreme sports and exhibit an unparalleled ability to reach higher terrain. Yumkasaurus is equipped with an extraordinary organ that facilitates its ascent into the air. Furthermore, it is capable of releasing explosive projectiles when it consumes certain Natlan fruits, rendering it a dependable force in both combat and exploration.
Koholasaurus
The People of the Springs and Koholasaurus both benefit from the hot springs and flowing waters that provide solace and pleasure. Upon indwelling within a Koholasaurus, it is possible to immerse oneself in the hot springs and waters that surround this seaside tribe. This Saurian is capable of traversing a hazardous liquid phlogiston and a rapid track that is constructed from flowing Phlogistons.
