As a longtime desktop and laptop user, I've been using a non-gaming mouse when playing different PC games because, obviously, it does its job and the experience was decent. However, when I decided to try a gaming mouse, I chose the Rapoo VT9Pro. Oh boy, the experience is much better. Every click is precise, whether I am playing MOBA games like League of Legends (LoL) and Dota 2 or FPS games like Valorant and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).
That said, Rapoo VT9Pro might be what you're looking for if you want a budget 4K wireless gaming mouse. For around PHP 2000, this lightweight dual-mode wireless gaming mouse offers esports-grade performance, enhancing your gameplay experience. Design and Build Quality
The first thing I've noticed about Rapoo VT9Pro is how light this mouse is. At only 68 grams, it feels so featherweight as you can comfortably glide it back and forth, making for effortless flicks and lightning-fast reflexes during intense gameplay, a major plus for us gamers who prefer fast-paced game genres like first-person shooter (FPS) and multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA).
Moreover, the Rapoo VT9Pro mouse has a polycarbonate shell with a matte surface, which, in my experience, offers a comfortable grip. It feels good in the hand, not so slippery even though I have sweaty hands, and is ideal for all types of grip styles: claw, palm, and fingertip.
The shape of the mouse is very angular. It has these two very sharp angular edges. It does have a very center hump, which is very suitable for palm or claw-style grip users.
Besides the standard left and right-click buttons, Rapoo VT9Pro has two keys situated below the mouse wheel for fast DPI adjustment. The side buttons provide additional functionality for the mouse, whether for gaming or productivity; however, this may be more suitable for right-handed users due to the design's preference for that hand.
Moreover, you can find these components on the bottom side of the mouse: an on/off switch, the optical sensor, a button for changing the LED color, and a USB dongle hidden in a magnetic cover.
You have several ways to use the Rapoo VT9Pro mouse: (1) Wired mouse via the included USB A to USB-C cable or provide your own Type C to C cable, (2) Wireless mouse via the USB dongle included under the mouse (Simply press down the storage box section to release the cover from its magnetic connection, and then remove the USB connector to plug it into your PC), (3) Combine the dongle and the cable using the supplied USB-C to USB-A adapter to adjust or extend your connection range from the PC in case of interference.
Performance
By utilizing a PAW 3398 sensor and a DPI range of 50-26000, the Rapoo VT9Pro mouse ensures accurate tracking and the ability to adjust sensitivity in a variety of gaming scenarios. Meanwhile, the Nordic 52833 solution facilitates stable wireless connectivity, while the 1000Hz polling rate ensures real-time communication between the mouse and the computer.
I have a generic mouse pad, and I've used the mouse via a USB dongle. It performed well, as I could swiftly slide it in any direction. No stutter or lag. I've tested it on Valorant and League of Legends (LoL) and my overall experience has been very satisfactory.
The utilization of Omron D2FC-F-K (50M) switches for the left and right keys, in conjunction with a Kailh GE 2.0 encoder for the scroll wheel and Kailh Black switches for the middle key, signifies robustness and tactile stimulation that are well-suited for prolonged gaming sessions. The Kailh Green side key and DPI adjustment key further increase the device's adaptability and practicality.
Further, a crucial feature for gaming, the mouse's 1ms response time guarantees minimal input latency. Paired with a 50G acceleration and 650 IPS (Inches Per Second), it conceivably facilitates rapid and precise cursor motion across various surfaces.
I did find the actual performance of the Rapoo VT9Pro mouse to be fairly decent. The clicks of the mouse were very light, very tactile, and easy to operate. The scroll wheel was also very good. I did not have any issues. The side button are working perfectly.
With ten (10) programmable buttons included with the VT9Pro, you can customize the control scheme to suit your particular requirements. This feature facilitates the creation of macros and expedites access to in-game functions. The user-friendly software that is provided enables you to personalize these controls.
To download the software, simply search Rapoo VT9PRO on Google and click on the official website. From there, navigate to Downloads and Windows Driver. The software of the Rapoo VT9PRO mouse has the following tabs: Configuration setting, DPI setting, Parameter setting, Macro editing, Support, and Personal Center.
Additionally, the Rapoo VT9Pro wireless mouse's 800mAh battery boasts an impressively long battery life of up to 160 hours per charge, particularly considering its high performance. It lived up to the anticipation, providing sufficient power for days of casual gaming on a single charge, in my experience.
Final Thoughts

From its sleek design to snappy clicks, it will provide users with remarkable performance. For approximately PHP 2K, you can buy it via Rapoo's official online stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorized dealers across the Philippines.
