The GOMO SIM card registration process is more convenient, as subscribers of the all-digital telco were considered substantially registered from the time they created their account in the GOMO PH app. Check out more details below.
To recap, SIM card registration in the Philippines is completely free of charge. All individuals, both local and foreign, and businesses using SIMs (Standard SIM and eSIM) purchased in the country for use in wireless devices such as mobile phones and portable WiFi modems are covered by the law. Registering SIM is required in order to comply with the SIM registration law, which seeks to curb the increase of spam messages and text scams. Failure to register within the specified period will result in the automatic deactivation of SIM. Thus, it will be unable to make or receive calls, send or receive text messages, or connect to the internet.
