Samsung has officially launched the Note20 series consisting of the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra during the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 live stream event on August 5, 2020. These new Galaxy Note20 series bring PC power and the best Galaxy mobile gaming experience, combining top-of-the-line specs with upgraded notetaking and productivity tools, powerful mobile gaming, pro-grade video recording, and new Ultra-Wideband (UWB) for seamless file sharing. It works like a computer, but better - with an S Pen, all-day intelligent battery, and 120Hz display.
The Galaxy Note20 series will be available at authorized Samsung Philippines stores and online partner merchants beginning August 21, 2020. Price starts at PHP 53,990 for the Galaxy Note20, and PHP 67,990 for the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and PHP 72,990 for the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G. Meanwhile, the 5G variants of the Note20 Series are exclusively available through Globe and Smart Postpaid Plans. It will come with freebies worth up to PHP 16,995.
The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra retained most of the upgrades Samsung gave the Galaxy S20, including the 120Hz display and a bigger battery. However, they refined them, improving the autofocus on the 108 MP camera, the screen to body ratio, design, and various others. It's one of the first phones to support Xbox cloud gaming, allowing you to play over 100 Xbox games on your phone.
The Galaxy Note20 series' S Pen, powered by deep-learning technology, has significantly improved latency for more natural, fluid writing. The Galaxy Note20 Ultra's 120Hz display enhances the experience even more for life-like precision whether you're taking down notes in a meeting or scribbling down a grocery list. The S Pen's built-in remote controls have also received a major update. The S Pen's five new Anywhere actions: Smart Select, Screen Write, Back, Recent App, and Home, make touchless navigation of your device easier.
The improved Samsung Notes app features auto-saving and syncing capabilities across mobile, tablet and Windows PCs. This lets you pick up right where you left off as you move from device to device. Samsung Notes also straightens your messy handwriting into legible penmanship, annotates and highlight PDFs, exports handwritten notes into PowerPoint slides, and records audio while you're jotting down notes, among other functionalities.
Samsung's partnership with Microsoft brings enhanced productivity and entertainment on the Galaxy Note20 series. With Microsoft's Your Phone app and Link to Windows integration on select Samsung phones, users can sync their Galaxy smartphone to their Windows 10 PC to share messages, photos, notifications and calendar reminders in almost real-time. The device's Game Booster comes with improved AI features and an enhanced NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which monitors how the game runs on the device to automatically adjust phone settings for peak gaming experience.
Despite of stunning features, Galaxy Note20 series has no headphone jack. Meanwhile, Samsung Philippines will only release the Exynos 990 versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Series here in the country. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset versions are only offered in the USA.
