Heads up, Filipino Rakion fans! PlayPark announced that the Rakion closed beta test (CBT) is now live in Southeast Asia (SEA), including the Philippines.

If you are a Rakion Online fan and are excited about the classic PC action RPG's comeback, you can join this CBT to relive your memories, especially when you played it in computer shops (or what we usually refer to as comp shops). Check out more details below.
Closed Beta Test Overview
According to the PlayPark Rakion Team, the Closed Beta Test will run from September 24 to October 1, 2024.
During the CBT period, all game modes and features will be available to players. This is the time to test your skills again against the Golem, dodge attacks in the popular Deathmatch mode, or team up with other players in team battles.
You can download the client through this link: https://www.playpark.com/en-ph/rakion-download. Its installer size is 1.6 GB.
To run the game, PlayPark posted the recommended system requirements: a CPU of Pentium IV 2GHz, 512 MB of RAM, and an operating system (OS) of either Windows 10 or 11. Other specs required include DirectX Version 9.0, 10 GB of available storage space, and a broadband internet connection.
The Rakion Closed Beta event is open to gamers in the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. As usual, all characters created, items obtained, and progress made during the CBT phase will be deleted when it ends.
The game's official launch is slated for Q4 2024.

Event: Alphabet Collection
Overview:
The Alphabet Collection Event is a limited-time event in Rakion where players can collect letters to form words and earn rewards. The event features three game modes:
- Personal Battle = R – A – K – I – O – N
- Golem War = C – H – A – O – S
- Death Match = F – O – R – C – E
How to Participate
- Log in to their Rakion account during the event period.
- Select one of the three event modes: Personal Battle, Golem War, or Death Match.
- Play the game and collect random letters based on the selected game mode.
- Complete words by collecting all the letters required to form a valid word.
Earning Event Points
- Random Letters: Players will earn random letters based on their game mode.
- Extra Points: Players will gain 1 extra event point for each alphabet they collect.
- Complete Words: When players complete a word, it will flicker on their screen for a few seconds, and they'll receive 50 extra event points.
- Purchases: Players will receive 1 random letter for every purchase of over 100 Cash.
