Xiaomi HyperOS
The Xiaomi 14 Series is equipped with the cutting-edge Xiaomi HyperOS operating system. This system is designed with a focus on the "Human X Car X Home" smart ecosystem and has been developed for seven years by Xiaomi. The human-centric system has four major goals: Comprehensive Refactoring, Cross-Device Intelligent Connectivity, Proactive Intelligence, and End-to-End Security.
With Xiaomi HyperOS, users of the Xiaomi 14 Series can experience elevated system fluidity and advanced file and memory management capabilities. Additionally, the UI has been revamped and enriched by the graphics subsystem. Users can expect seamless connectivity between devices and comprehensive security and privacy features that ensure a safe, connected experience.
The new integration with Google Photos will enable users to back up their photos and videos securely to Google Photos directly from the Xiaomi Gallery. With this new feature, users can effortlessly view, edit, and share content backed up in Google Photos from their Xiaomi Gallery. This functionality will be globally available on Xiaomi devices in the spring of 2024.
The Xiaomi 14 Series incorporates advanced AI technology powered by Xiaomi HyperOS to provide users with a smarter and more efficient experience. Various system applications are integrated with large AI models, resulting in more streamlined and intelligent features. With AI Subtitles, users can transcribe spoken content in real-time during video conferences. AI Album Search uses natural language processing, allowing users to search their photo collections by describing what they are looking for. AI Portraits utilizes advanced algorithms to create unique portrait compositions derived from pre-existing images. Moreover, AI Expansion offers new creative possibilities by realistically extending existing image content.
Xiaomi's HyperMind technology enables devices to proactively understand user needs and act accordingly. It does this by utilizing the four perceptual capabilities of devices - environment, sound, vision, and behavior - to learn user preferences and automatically adapt devices to their needs. For example, if a user usually turns on the living room light upon unlocking their smart door lock, HyperMind will learn this pattern and automatically illuminate the room with the user's consent. This results in proactive intelligence that makes life easier for users.
