Genshin Impact 3.8 Update: Release Date, Banners, Events

Genshin Impact 3.8 update is slated for release on July 5, 2023, HoYoverse announced. The latest Genshin Impact version 3.8 patch, titled "Secret Summer Paradise," brings new outfits for Klee and Kaeya, a new limited-time map, new banners, events, and rewards. A preview of Fontaine, the game's next major area, was also revealed. Check out more information below.

Highlights of Genshin Impact Version 3.8 "Secret Summer Paradise":

• A new limited-time map with summer attractions
• Two (2) open-world gameplay modes and four event games with rewards, including Kaeya's outfit and Layla, whom you can recruit
• New outfits for Klee and Kaeya and Hangout Event for Kaeya
• New TCG PvE mode and 3 new Character Cards

Limited-Time Summer Event Area: Veluriyam Mirage

The Veluriyam Mirage, a brand-new area in Teyvat this summer, is comprised of high hills, dark caves, forested valleys, and an abundance of recreational facilities.

Two open-world game modes allow players to completely explore the Mirage: the Choo-Choo Cart, which transports passengers on thrilling roller coaster rides throughout the area, and the Preprint mode, which teleports players into a two-dimensional world to unlock secret puzzles and treasures.

As they explore this region, players can acquire Joyeux Vouchers redeemable for a variety of rewards, including Kaeya's new outfit.

New Events

The Veluriyam Mirage houses four summer special events and attractions:

• "Spino Blaster" is a water cannon-shooting game.
• "Dance of Flashing Thought" offers additional combat challenges with various features.
• In the "Sojourns of the Barking Fox" event, players can control a small Barking Fox and compete in an aerial speed race.
• In the "Bing-Bang Finchball" event, players can try their hand at a revamped shuffleboard game.

These amusements provide additional bonuses, including the opportunity to recruit Layla for free.

Moreover, Version 3.8 of Genshin Impact will bring the following events:

• Secret Summer Paradise
• Perilous Expedition
• Adventure's Trials: Advanced
• Shared Sight

Take part in the new "Secret Summer Paradise" Version Event to obtain rewards such as refinement materials, Primogems, Crown of Insight, and Character EXP Materials.

• Phase 1
• Boosted Drop Rates for "Dance of the Shimmering Wave" Eula (Cryo) and "Fleeing Sunlight" Klee (Pyro)

• Phase 2
• Boosted Drop Rates for "Pearl of Wisdom" Sangonomiya Kokomi (Hydro) and "Eons Adrift" Wanderer (Anemo)

For Genshin Impact V3.8 Event Wishes, we will see the return of Klee and Eula in the first half and the rerun of Sangonomiya Kokomi and Wanderer in the latter half.

New Outfits for Klee and Kaeya

Klee and Kaeya will receive their new outfits. Check out the new skins: Klee "Blossoming Starlight" and Kaeya "Sailwind Shadow".

Also, Kaeya will finally have his Hangout Event in the new version.

Genius Invokation TCG Update

With the new patch, Genius Invokation TCG receives additional content, including:

• A new PvE mode called "The Forge Realm's Temper: Endless Swarm" featuring limitless waves of enemies within a limited number of rounds;
• Three new Character Cards: Yanfei, Candace, and Kaedehara Kazuha.

Preview of Fontaine

Here is a sneak peek of the next major area, "Fontaine," the Nation of Justice, coming later this year.

Players can expect unique street views above the water, the Fleuve Cendre, the sewers, and the ecology and aquatic creatures underwater.
