itel Philippines has launched its latest budget phone with up to 7GB of RAM, the itel Vision 5. Check out its features, specs, unboxing, and price below.

The entry-level smartphone features a "Star Ring Design," incorporating a rear camera bump with a large lens on top and two smaller lenses below. It also has curved edges, which brings comfort to hands.

Moreover, itel Vision 5 is resistant to common drops. The phone can also be used in rugged situations as it is dust and moisture-proof. Further, the device is safe to use at extreme temperatures and has a stable internal and external structure, according to the mobile brand.

For its display, it has a 6.6-inch 2.5D curved IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch, an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 px) at 266 PPI, and a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Further, the affordable phone is equipped with a triple rear camera module (8-megapixel main + QVGA + QVGA) as well as a 5-megapixel selfie camera, which has a fill-in function that restores the user's beauty, even in dim lighting. For its security, it supports face unlock and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Powering itel Vision 5 is a 1.6GHz 28nm Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The mobile platform is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable storage.

According to itel, the 4GB RAM of Vision 5 can be virtually extended by up to 7GB (+3GB) using the smartphone's internal storage. The Extended RAM feature, called Memory Fusion, is available via the OTA version upgrade. With bigger memory, it can satisfy a user's gaming and multitasking needs.

Additionally, itel Vision 5 packs a big 5000mAh battery capacity with support for an 18W fast charging rate via micro-USB. On a single full charge, Vision 5 can provide an average usage time of up to 18 hours of video playback, 28 hours of voice calls, or 158 hours of music playback.

For the software, the smartphone comes with an Android 12 Go Edition-based itel OS 8.6 interface. Other highlights include 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, i-boost 1.0, Battery Lab (Multi Power Saving Mode), and F2FS File System (Slimmer System, More Space).
