Ashfall, post-apocalyptic shooter MMORPG, unveiled

Legendary Star Studio has announced Ashfall, a new post-apocalyptic adventure shooter MMORPG for PC, Android, and iOS devices, which will launch in 2023.

Ashfall debuted with an intense trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, which was followed by an in-depth glimpse at the game's gameplay during the IGN Showcase livestream, giving gamers around the globe a comprehensive first look at the game.

Ashfall Overview

Ashfall takes place in a post-apocalyptic world charred by nuclear warfare, in which humanity's greatest invention once turned against them. The war was sparked by a huge artificial intelligence that betrayed humanity and intended to eradicate all life on the earth, with the exception of robots. Nevertheless, humanity persisted, and the remaining humans established pockets of civilization among the ashes of their former greatness. There is yet hope, as rumors of the "Core of Creation" suggest it may be able to restore the devastated land. The players assume the role of Wanderers, soldiers and explorers entrusted with leaving the safety of their Vault and exploring the perilous territories in pursuit of humanity's redemption.

Ashfall Game Features

Third-person adventure shooter Ashfall Ashfall emphasizes using cover and team tactics to defeat opponents. Rebuilding civilization and reclaiming the wilderness is the objective of the game, but it won't be simple. Not only is the area itself hazardous to explore, but there are also several foes that reside amid the ruins of society, such as bands of raiders, ruthless war machines, and packs of mutated animals. The creators of Ashfall are avid fans of post-apocalyptic games, particularly the Fallout series, and have drawn inspiration from some of the genre's most popular titles. Eastern imagery is typically associated with the cyberpunk genre and is rarely encountered in post-apocalyptic novels.
