PUBG Mobile 2.1 Update: Blackpink Concert, new game mode, more

PUBG Mobile will release its Version 2.1 Update, bringing K-pop sensation BLACKPINK into the virtual world with "The Virtual" – the first-ever in-game concert for the mobile battle royale game. Alongside the world-first performances, the South Korean girl group will also debut a Special Track and music video on PUBG Mobile later this month.

Moreover, PUBG Mobile 2.1 Update will add "Ancient Secret: Arise," a new themed game mode. The new patch will also add new content through Cycle 3 Season 7 and Royale Pass Month 13, among others.

BLACKPINK x PUBG Mobile Collaboration

This month, the internationally renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK will return to PUBG Mobile in an epic and highly anticipated way. BLACKPINK, who have previously collaborated with the game, are ready to take things to the next level by performing at the first-ever PUBG Mobile in-game concert.

Fans will have two incredible opportunities to see BLACKPINK perform chart-topping classics and meet their idols during this innovative in-game event. The event will be held from July 22 to July 23 and July 29 to July 30 in North and South America, and from July 23 to July 24 and July 30 to July 31 in the rest of the world.

PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK collab: concert, dates, events

Having collaborated previously in 2020 to celebrate the release of BLACKPINK's album "The ALBUM," one of the game's most successful partnerships to date, PUBGM is now taking things to the next level by introducing an epic and dazzling collaboration that will provide players and Blinks around the world with a truly unique experience.

In addition to attending the concert, fans will be able to obtain the custom-made performance suits worn by the group during their performance. The stunning outfits worn by Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will be available to players from July 23 to August 31. These outfits are sure to make players shine on the battlefield.

Beginning on July 15, players can obtain free concert tickets in-game, and on July 16, they can preload the Concert Resource Pack, which is required to attend the concert. Beginning on July 19, players will be tasked with bringing the BLACKPINK spirit to PUBG Mobile. Gifting the artists in-game will result in the appearance of promotional materials; the more gifts shared, the more promotional materials will appear. There are also daily rewards that can be earned by logging in or completing themed challenges.

But not only will BLACKPINK's current music be featured. Very soon, a Special Track and new music video, designed and created specifically for this collaboration with PUBG Mobile, will be released in the game and on its social media channels.

New Game Mode - Ancient Secret: Arise

Enter through Themed Maps in Ranked mode, in either Erangel, Miramar, or Livik, and experience the Sandstorm Zone, which blows randomly at the beginning of every match. However, brave players who enter will be rewarded with Scarab Charms, which can be used once per match to return to the battlefield after being defeated.

In order to enter the Emperor's Temple, players can also traverse the Quicksand Path, move the Sand Giant, and get on the Ancient Secret to reveal the Pharaoh's loot. Earn Primordial Water by looting the area or defeating an ancient foe, allowing the player to recover all health and energy.

In addition to Scarab Ruins and Jackal Ruins, the battlefield also contains a number of Scarab Ruins and Jackal Ruins. By solving their puzzles and defeating the mummy guardian, players will earn valuable crates. Desert Merchants can also be found at random locations on the map, selling supplies at unbelievable discounts. Finally, keep an eye out for Scorpion Crates that contain supplies throughout the map.

PUBG Mobile Cycle 3 Season 7 and Royale Pass Month 13

Version 2.1 of PUBG MOBILE introduces Cycle 3 Season 7 with a new set of Legendary items, a new Season Bonus Points Card, and a Rating Protection Card, allowing players to earn additional points from matches and protect their current season rating. Players who enjoy Ancient Secret: Arise can also unlock special titles by completing themed story missions.

As part of Royale Pass Month 13: Exo-Genesis, which began on July 19, new content has been released for players, including new finishes for the Mini14 and M762. This Royale Pass Month, players can also exchange a Wingman finish for a Moments card at a 90 percent discount, complete missions to purchase RP points at a discount if they have reached RP Rank 50, and receive a free 60 UC Voucher.
