It also comes with many features such as a multimedia player, video recorder, games, WiFi dongle support, and more.

Installation Guide
Here is the step-by-step procedure on how to install the Baron Digital TV Receiver.
Step 1: Make sure all cables (RCA, antenna, and power source) are connected properly before starting the digital TV receiver.
Step 2: Turn on your TV and receiver.
Step 3: It will show the installation guide page, and it is advised that you leave the default settings alone.
Step 4: After the initial setting is finished, move the cursor to Next and press OK to go to the Antenna setting. Move the cursor to Start Search and press OK to start the Program scan.
Step 5: Once the channel search is completed, you can start watching TV programs.
How to scan digital TV channels in Baron Digital TV?
Step 1: Press the SCAN button on your remote.
Step 2: A 'Confirm' window will pop up. Press the OK button to begin the channel search.
Step 3: Wait for the channel search to finish.
How to set up the WiFi?
Baron Digital TV Receiver features YouTube and Viu player. In order to access these online video streaming apps, a WiFi adapter (with MTK7601 or RT8188 chipset) is required. If you bought the Baron DTV Combo, it comes with a Baron WiFi dongle.
After connecting the supported WiFi dongle, you can now connect it to your network. Press the remote control's Menu button, select the Setting, then choose Ethernet.
It will open a window with all available WiFi networks. Select your network, add the password, check the Auto Link option, and select Connect. The "connect" icon will be without an "X," indicating that the connection was successful.
How to access YouTube and Viu?
The remote control of Baron Digital TV Receiver has dedicated buttons for YouTube and Viu.
Alternatively, you can access these video streaming apps by pressing the Menu button on the remote control and navigating Main Menu -> Media Center -> Online video -> YouTube or VIU.
Do note that Viu may not be available initially but can be added via a software upgrade.
You can watch vlogs, video clips, music videos, news, short films, feature films, documentaries, audio recordings, movie trailers, and teasers on YouTube. Meanwhile, over-the-top (OTT) video streaming provider Viu delivers content in different genres from Asian dramas (K-drama, Chinese drama, Japanese drama) to anime with English subtitles.
How to upgrade the software of the Baron Digital TV Receiver via USB?
This software upgrade will solve the buffering issues of YouTube and Viu.
1. Download the updated software here.
2. Save it to a USB flash drive.
3. Insert the USB drive into the USB slot in your Baron Digital TV Receiver.
4. Click Menu on the remote, Go to Setting, then choose Upgrade.
5. Choose USB upgrade, click /udska1, and then choose the file downloaded.
6. The system will upgrade the Baron Digital TV Receiver.
7. After the upgrade, just rescan, which is the same process as when you bought the box.
8. Re-input your WiFi password in the Ethernet connection.
In case the box will not be able to scan the WiFi, just unplug the WiFi dongle or unplug the box. Go back to Settings, then choose Ethernet to input the WiFi password.
What are the uses of USB ports?
The Baron Digital TV Receiver has 2 USB 2.0 A ports (front and back). You can insert your USB flash disk, then press the USB button on the remote control to view pictures, play music files, and watch videos saved on it. Moreover, you can charge your phone using a USB cable. The front USB port is available for the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) feature. You can also do a software upgrade via USB.
Can you use another antenna for the Baron Digital TV?
Besides the provided antenna, you can use another antenna for the Baron Digital TV. As per ISDB-T standard (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial), it is suggested to use an outdoor antenna mounted on a 10-meter high pole.
