Riot Games launches RiotX Arcane event across all titles

Riot Games has launched the RiotX Arcane event, a month-long event across all of its games to celebrate the debut of Arcane, League of Legends' animated series coming to Netflix Philippines on November 7.

The event will see in-person and digital cross-media events that evolve with each act of the series throughout its month-long run.

RiotX Arcane will be celebrated in all Riot titles, including League of Legends, LoL: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Valorant. Check out below the in-game updates and rewards for each game.

League of Legends

Throughout the RiotX Arcane event, PC MOBA game League of Legends will be releasing free Arcane skins inspired by the series, various thematic updates to Summoner's Rift, Preseason 2022 updates, and two new interactive experiences in the coming week. Here are the details.

League of Legends Philippines will start the "Into the Arcane" event from November 9, 2021, 12:00 AM (GMT+8) to December 10, 2021, 4:59 AM (GMT+8).

LoL: Wild Rift

Mobile MOBA game Wild Rift will be introducing new ways for its players to enjoy the game, including two famous champions, daily login rewards, free Arcane-inspired skins, and a showcase of Piltover's most iconic rivalries. The details are as follows.

Legends of Runeterra

The digital card game Legends of Runeterra will celebrate the event by introducing a permanent new game mode that will allow players to journey through Runeterra as their favorite champions. It will also release a special series of "storyful adventures" in Piltover and Zaun featuring the cast of Arcane. The following are the details for its in-game updates.

RiotX Arcane Event

The event kicks off on November 1 and culminates in a Super Weekend of events that feature the LoL Worlds 2021 grand finals and Arcane Premiere.

The month-long celebration will begin with the League of Legends World Championship, which has served as the launchpad for some of Riot's most popular music and entertainment experiences. Imagine Dragons, PVRIS, Bea Miller, JID, and Denzel Curry will headline this year's World Championship Show Open Presented by Mastercard, taking players and fans on an Arcane-themed journey through Piltover and Zaun, Arcane's dual-city setting. The Show Open starts on Saturday, November 6 at 8 PM (GMT +8) and will be broadcast live on lolesports.com, YouTube, and Twitch.

Additionally, the RiotX Arcane Global Premiere will take place the following day at 8:30 AM (GMT +8) and will be streamed globally on Twitch (via the Riot Games channel and Twitch streamers' channels) and Arcane.com.

The global premiere event will feature a red carpet that will allow media and streamers from over 30 countries to broadcast the celebration to their global communities. Moreover, Arcane is the first Netflix series to premiere with exclusive co-streaming on Twitch, with content creators on the service broadcasting themselves watching and reacting to episode one.

Additionally, the World of RiotX Arcane event hub is now available, providing a digital companion for players to explore alongside the show. Further, players can embark on a narrative adventure and complete missions to earn in-game currency. Beginning November 7, rewards will be available in-game, with additional in-game rewards available on November 15. Additionally, from November 1 to 30, Prime Gaming rewards are available.
