miHoYo's Tears of Themis set to release on July 29

Chinese game company miHoYo has announced that its new romance detective game, Tears of Themis, is scheduled for release on Android and iOS on July 29, 2021, globally.

A new trailer has been revealed along with the announcement of the Tears of Themis English release date.

The video emphasizes the investigative aspect. In the latest trailer, "Shattered Path," we see various suspects and suspicious characters involved in cases where the heroine and her potential love interests will cross paths. Additionally, we get to see the scene of a crime. However, the game's "trial" mode is not mentioned.

Tears of Themis is miHoYo's first detective adventure and love-sim game. Each chapter centers on a unique case in which you play the role of a lawyer at Themis Law Firm defending an innocent person and attempting to uncover the truth. Four bachelors assist you on your journey, with side stories allowing you to get to know them better. Additionally, there is an overarching, more profound mystery that everyone becomes involved in throughout the game.

Pre-registration for the game has started on June 17 on the App Store, Google Play Store, and the official website. miHoYo said that there are more than 400,000 pre-registrations currently.

After a certain number of pre-registered players has been reached, a series of exclusive rewards will be distributed following the game's official release. Once the number of pre-registrations reaches 500,000, the Draw x10 reward will be unlocked for all players upon the game's official release.

Furthermore, the SR Card Early Draw is still open on the pre-registration website. Additional chances to win are available by logging in, inviting friends, and sharing the event. The official website has opened the "Shattered Path" puzzle; players who complete all five challenges will receive an S-Chip x180 upon the game's official release.

The Tears of Themis release date for the English global version of the game is officially confirmed on July 29, 2021. It will be available on Android and Apple iOS devices. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean are available with dubbing in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
