Globe Innovation Fest: GBs to Points, GPlan, 5G Roaming, more

Globe Telecom reinvents customers' everyday experiences with its latest innovative life-enabling offers. The telco launched its new deals during Globe Innovation Fest on March 25, 2021.

Globe Telecom is the market leader and pioneer in 5G technology in the Philippines. Globe's 5G roaming services recently launched in the UAE and Thailand are expected to expand across Asia, the Middle East, North America, and other European countries. Filipinos traveling abroad and customers of select foreign telcos entering the Philippines can use the 5G roaming service.

Globe Rewards: GBs to Points Promo

Globe introduces data as currency, which is first in the Philippines. Globe Rewards innovation applies to any Globe product, whether mobile, Home Prepaid WiFi, or Reward for loyalty. With Globe's GBs to Points promo, customers can soon convert their unused GBs to Globe Rewards points via the Globe One App. For Globe Prepaid, the conversion is 1GB = 1 Rewards Point. Globe Postpaid customers can convert their 1GB to 10 Rewards points. For Home Prepaid WiFi, 3GBs is equivalent to 3 Rewards. Gigabytes (GBs) may be converted into points at any time within the promo validity or before the plan's cut-off date.

Globe Postpaid: New GPlan

Globe Postpaid acknowledges customers' evolving needs and the importance of flexibility and reliable connectivity. The new Globe GPlan with GCash offers maximum flexibility for customers by providing them GCash credits to spend for anything they want and need, whether it's content subscriptions, shopping vouchers, or even home essentials like robot vacuums. Any GPlan type combines mobile and life essentials. Besides generous data allocations, customers will receive unlimited allnet calls & texts and free GoWiFi when in transit. There's also unlimited teleconsultation via KonsultaMD and three months insurance coverage via GInsure from Singlife with plan offers such as GPlan with Device, GPlan Sim-only, and GPlan via GCash.

Globe and iQiyi Partnership

Globe Postpaid will also make available special offers soon using the iQiyi app, an online movie and video streaming website for Korean and Chinese TV dramas, movies, variety shows, and Japanese anime. The primarily Asian content will be available using FREE and VIP versions accessible via the iQiyi app or iQ.com. VIP subscription enables customers to receive additional features, including advanced episodes and no ads. iQiyi VIP offers will be available on the GlobeOne and GCash apps in April 2021.

Globe At Home Unli Fiber Up Plan

Globe At Home is increasing its plans' speeds. Furthermore, it has ramped up its entertainment and health freebies through its Unli Fiber Up plan with internet speeds of up to 100Mbps for only P2,899.

Customers can also receive three (3) months of FREE GInsure medical coverage for COVID 19 and dengue fever, with a maximum benefit of Php140,500. Globe At Home subscribers will also have access to free three (3) months of medical consultation through the KonsultaMD Family Plan. They have unlimited 24/7 access to licensed Filipino doctors through voice or video consultations. As required, they'll receive e-prescriptions or e-lab requests via SMS or email.

They may also choose their favorite entertainment via three months FREE access to Amazon Prime Video, HBO GO, and Viu Premium. For avid gamers, they can enjoy Amazon Prime Gaming, which includes 3-month Amazon Prime Video access and offers in-game content for top games and a selection of free games every month. For those who like Hollywood movies, customers have unlimited access to HBO with HBO GO. Lastly, Viu is an over-the-top video streaming provider that offers a wide selection of Korean content titles. Viu brings Japanese dramas and animation, Filipino-dubbed shows, Asian dramas, and Viu Originals.

Globe At Home provides a digital after-sales service through the Globe At Home app to complement its products. Customers can get support and avail of services like bills payment, plan upgrades, and volume boosts to get more data using the app. Customers may resolve concerns without calling a hotline or visiting a Globe Store by sending a message to the Globe At Home Facebook page's chatbot. Internet installation is guaranteed to happen within 48 hours upon plan approval, exclusively for online applications. Repair requests may also be made via the app.
