Realme C12 and Realme C15 phones join Realme C11 in the entry level C-series lineup of the Chinese smartphone company. Realme C12 and C15 were launched on August 14 and July 28, 2020, respectively. The two phones have a lot in common, including the MediaTek Helio G35 CPU, 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, large 6,000mAh battery, fingerprint scanner in the back, and similar design. However, the two phones differ in the camera department, the Realme C15 has a quad camera setup at the back, whereas the Realme C12 has a triple camera setup at the rear.
Large 6000mAh battery
Both Realme C12 and Realme C15 have a huge battery capacity of 6000mAh, which support 10W charging and 18W fast charging, respectively. This is the biggest battery yet used in any realme smartphones which will give users a tremendous battery backup. The 6000 mAh battery can last up to 57 days in standby mode. This is a very long time period about almost 2 months. With this huge battery, you can get up to 46 hours of calling, 10.2 hours of gaming, 18.6 hours of streaming online movies, or listen up to 1200 online songs.
The battery of realme C12 and C15 is very well optimized. It can Quick Freeze the apps which are not much used and prevent them to use data or storage in background. It has a Screen Battery Optimization feature as well which enhances the battery saving by optimizing screen usage. It also have Sleep Standby Optimization which will save the battery while the phone is not being used for long.
The Realme C12 and C15 have a built-in Super Power Saving Mode which you can enable in settings to optimize the usage of whole smartphone and saves the power without affecting the usage. Most of us use the same 6 apps with that being the majority of 70-80% of our usage. The super power saving mode can enhance the battery life by providing good power to those apps and prevent rarely used apps from using power in background. With Super Power Saving mode enabled, don't worry running out of battery, as it can still last up to 2.9 days standby, or you can still get up to 2.45 hours for voice calls, 1.73 hours for YouTube streaming, or 1.79 hours for WhatsApp. Both phones also supports reverse charging, so you can turn your phone into a power bank and get juice up any smartphone or accessories.
Geometric Gradient Design and 6.5-inch Display
Both phones come with the all new Geometric Gradient Design with splash-resistant. This design shows three different areas separated with angular lines which makes the reflections different in every direction. Its unique texture brings an excellent hand feel, and is also resistant to fingerprints and scratches.
Realme C12 has 13MP artificial intelligence triple camera along with flashlight. It is at the left top corner on the back side of the device. Realme C15 comes with a Square Quad Camera Module Setup at the top left corner of the back of the smartphone which makes the phone look stylish and trendy. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, first time in realme C series Smartphones. So, you get an additional security along with Face Unlock as well.
Both phones boast of a 6.5" Mini-drop HD+ IPS LCD display with 1600 x 720 resolution. It makes the viewing area much larger to watch your favourite things on the smartphone. The Screen-to-Body ratio is 88.7% with a large and trendy 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes with an Eye protection mode which will reduce the eye strain which usually happens due to regular usage. The light and thin display fits inside the smartphone area only, thereby reducing the risk of cracks or dents easily.

Realme C12 13MP AI Triple Camera and Realme C15 Quad Camera (first in C-series)
Realme C12 was equipped with triple rear camera setup and a LED flash boxed into a new trendy square camera module. It was composed of 13MP Primary Camera with aperture f/2.2 and 5P Lens, 2MP B&W Portrait Lens with aperture f/2.4, and 2MP Macro Lens with aperture f/2.4 4cm. It features Super Nightscape, Chroma Boost, Slo-mo, and 1080P Full HD Video Recording. For the front shooter, it has 5MP AI Selfie Camera with aperture f/2.4. You can capture selfies along with Portrait and AI Beautification Mode.
The Realme C15 sports a trendsetting Camera Module for the first time in the C-series. The rear camera setup comes in a square module with the following camera specs: 13MP Primary Camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5p lens, 2MP B&W Portrait Lens with f/2.4 aperture, 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens with 119° FoV and f/2.5 aperture and 5p lens, and a 2MP Retro Lens with f/2.4 aperture. Along with these amazing camera specs, the realme C15 comes with some interesting camera features such as Slo-mo Video Recording, 1080p Full HD Video Recording, Ultra Wide-angle Video mode, 4x Zoom Capability, Fast PDAF Focus, Portrait Mode, Chroma Boost, and HDR Mode. MediaTek Helio G35 Gaming Processor
The Realme C12 and Realme C15 are powered by the recently launched MediaTek Helio G35. The G35 features an octa-core CPU with super-fast 2.3GHz peak speed, and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU providing the capable graphics hardware for gaming. The chip is built using an advanced 12nm technology to minimize power consumption.
MediaTek Helio G35, scores 113,150 on AnTuTu Benchmark, whereas other Entry-Level Processors score around 91300.
