Globe, Smart offer Free WiFi amid COVID-19 spread

Globe and Smart are providing free wifi services at select hospitals, transport hubs and malls in the country to help medical frontliners, patients and their loved ones, as well as the public, to remain connected and stay updated in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We support the government’s call to ensure the health and safety of everyone, especially those residing in or nearby areas affected by COVID-19. By providing connectivity in these locations, we also aim to augment the tireless efforts of our healthcare frontline workers in the midst of this national health emergency,” said Janis Racpan, Director for Digital Solutions Group at Globe.

“Let us work together in dealing with this health crisis by keeping ourselves informed on how to best safeguard our health and that of our families and communities during the community quarantine, as well as helping share the correct information about what is happening,” said PLDT-Smart Public Affairs Head Ramon R. Isberto.

Globe through its GoWiFi service offers free and unlimited GoWiFi connection in select hospitals, transport hubs and supermarkets nationwide.
