Globe, Smart, Sun, DITO, and other networks like TM-Touch Mobile, TNT, and GOMO apply standard rates for texts, calls, and surf services. Standard prepaid rates give information on how much regular load is spent for SMS/MMS per character or message, calls per minute, and internet surfing regular rate. Knowing these rates, as well as checking load balance, will help subscribers to monitor their expenses and avoid "nakaw" load or unwanted load deductions.
All networks' regular prepaid loads, regardless of amount, have 1-year validity. In 2018, DICT OIC Eliseo Rio said that "the one-year expiry date is very safe for consumers because that one year assures that they will be able to use the load." Furthermore, NTC reduced the interconnection rates of telcos. Based on NTC Memorandum Circular No. 05-07-2018, the former P2.50 per minute interconnection charge for calls was reduced to 50 centavos per minute, while the previous interconnection charge of 15 centavos per text was reduced to 5 centavos.

GOMO prepaid rates differ from other networks because it's data-based. It offers no expiry mobile data with different amounts. Users can use the open-access data as 'Mo Creds, which can be converted to calls or texts. For example, they can convert 200MB of data to 30 allnet texts or exchange 400MB of data for 6 minutes of calls to all networks. These calls and texts also have no expiration.
