Regarding design and build, the Redmi Buds 3 is extremely compact and small enough to fit in a user's pocket. It has a glossy white finish and should be fingerprint-resistant. Additionally, there is a USB-C charging port located beneath the case.

The case has a circular shape with straight edges on the sides. The case features a magnetic lid that opens and closes smoothly and comfortably. Moreover, opening the case activates the pairing process, so if your device is already paired to the phone, it connects automatically.

In terms of the earbuds themselves, they have a satisfying glossy finish. The tip of the earbuds is half-in-ear, which is ideal if you are not comfortable wearing in-ear headphones. The hole in the earbud's tip acts as a pressure relief valve, while the hole in the back acts as a tuning hole, allowing air to flow in and out.

Below the tuning hole is an LED indicator that illuminates when the device is not connected to anything. Once connected, it turns off. The microphone is located beneath the stem and is stereo-compatible.
